“Unity”

Where do you tend to struggle most when conflict arises: avoiding it, overreacting, or holding onto hurt? Why do you think that is?
Read Colossians 3:12–13. Which of these: compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, patience, or forgiveness, feels hardest for you to “put on” in difficult relationships right now?
The sermon mentioned that “the biggest enemy to unity is certainty/self-centeredness.” Can you think of a time when being convinced you were right made unity harder? What might it look like to choose love over being right in that situation?
What does it practically look like to “assume the best” about someone who has hurt or frustrated you? When is that easy? When is it difficult?
Jesus calls us in Matthew 18:15 to go directly to someone when there’s an issue. What typically keeps you from having those conversations? What would “being assertive, not passive” look like for you this week?
Is there a relationship where you need to take a next step: apologize, forgive, have a conversation, or let something go? What is one concrete step you can take this week to “lean in like Christ”?
