“How were your eyes opened?”

1. Encounter:
The man’s first encounter with Jesus wasn’t comfortable — it was irritating.
When have you experienced God interrupting your life in a way that felt uncomfortable or confusing at first? What did that moment eventually reveal about Him or about you?
2. Obedience:
Jesus told the man, “Go, wash in the pool of Siloam.” His healing began with obedience.
Why do you think God often asks us to obey before we fully understand? What’s one area where you sense God is calling you to take a step of faith right now?
3. Process:
The man’s physical eyes were opened instantly, but his spiritual eyes were opened gradually.
How have you experienced spiritual growth as a process rather than a single moment? In what ways has your understanding of Jesus deepened over time?
4. Testimony:
The man said, “One thing I do know. I was blind but now I see.”
What’s your “one thing I know” statement — a simple way you could describe what Jesus has done in your life? How can you share that with others this week?
5. Revelation & Worship:
The story ends with the man seeing Jesus for who He truly is — and worshiping Him.
- How does truly seeing Jesus for who He is change the way you respond to Him? What does worship look like in your everyday life, beyond singing or Sunday gatherings?
