In John 9:2, the disciples assume the man’s blindness was caused by sin. How do we sometimes make similar assumptions about others’ circumstances today?
How do our cultural or church “narratives” about sin, suffering, and success shape the way we see people? Can you give an example?
Jesus reframes the situation: brokenness can become a platform for God’s work. How can we look for God’s glory in difficult circumstances instead of seeking blame?
What are some “wrong beliefs” we may hold about God, about others, or even about ourselves that prevent us from participating in His work?
